Plane:
Sydney is Australia's largest city, and its international airport, Kingsford Smith Airport, is the largest in the country. You can get from the city center to the airport and vice versa by train, bus, or taxi.
The AirportLink train, Route T8, will be the fastest. The fare for an adult is approximately AUD 25. It takes about 15 minutes to make the 5 to 8 stops, depending on where you're going. There are departures every 10 minutes.
A taxi will be the most comfortable and easiest option, dropping you off exactly where you want to go. Depending on the number of passengers, this option will be the most cost-effective. The cost for a taxi is between $50 and $60.
The bus is another option, but it's only worth considering if you're traveling to neighborhoods or stops not served by the train. Bus routes 350 and 420 are the ones to consider.
