Canberra has an international airport, which is served daily by domestic flights from Australia’s major cities. To reach Canberra from abroad, you typically need to fly into one of these cities and then take a domestic flight to Canberra.
By train:
it’s also possible to travel from Sydney to Canberra by train.
By bus:
once in Canberra, getting around the city is quite easy. The city has a well-developed bus network that connects most of the different areas.
Driving around is also simple, as the traffic is not too heavy and the roads are well-maintained. Given that Canberra’s city center is quite compact, it’s also possible to explore on foot.
City Centre
