The season to AVOID: The Wet Season (or Green Season) from December to March. Humidity hovers near 90–100%, the heat is muggy and oppressive (33°C–35°C, but feeling much hotter with extreme heat index), and torrential downpours are common—think heavy monsoons, severe thunderstorms, and cyclone risks. Plus, many roads and national park access routes are completely closed due to flooding.
