Drivers Licence

To rent a vehicle in Australia, you must have both your national and international driving licence if this one is not in English. If you don’t have your international driving licence, you can have an official NAATI-certified translation done with us. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for your translation.

CHILD SEAT

• Babies from 0 to 6 months: rear-facing baby seat (contact us as very few rental companies allow children under 6 months).
• Children from 6 months to 4 years: forward- or rear-facing baby seat with an internal harness.
• Children from 4 to 7 years: booster seat.
• Children from 8 to 16 years: booster seat if less than 1.45 m tall.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover you during your stay.

If you haven’t already purchased insurance, our team can help.

VEHICLE INSURANCE

Upon pickup, the rental company will ask you to pay an excess (between AU$3,000 and AU$7,500) depending on the vehicle.

You can purchase the rental company’s liability reduction and/or buy back your excess at the next step.
