Adelaide

Australia's fifth largest city and capital of the state of South Australia, Adelaide has a population of 1.3 million.

Adelaide is home to many of Australia's financial institutions and government agencies, most of which are located in the city center. It is also very pleasant to stroll through the historic streets of the center, and the cathedral and the botanical gardens of the city are well worth a visit.

Adelaide is a city with a much envied quality of life. It appears among others in the ranking of the magazine "The Economist" of the 10 cities in the world offering the best quality of life.

It is true that Adelaide has it all: a historic center with admirable architecture, numerous cafes and restaurants, white sandy beaches and relaxing seaside resorts. Its ideal geographical location, in the middle of Australia's most productive wine region, also makes it the Australian capital of oenology.

If you are a wine lover, Adelaide is therefore a must-see during your stay in Australia.

You can pick up your motorhome early in the morning and head to the Clare Valley wine region, renowned for the quality of its vineyards.

After a tasting of some wines from the region and a well-deserved rest, it's time to explore the Flinders Ranges, where you will find sporting walks through desert landscapes and nevertheless grandiose.

The prosperous city of Adelaide gives way to the red and arid land of the Outback. Your real Australia motorhome experience begins.
