Perth

Perth

A remote city at the southwestern tip of Australia, Perth is the largest city in the state of Western Australia. It is also the fourth largest city in Australia in terms of population, with 2 million inhabitants.

Perth has been experiencing exponential growth in recent years thanks to the highly profitable exploitation of the surrounding mines. You can feel it when you walk through its beautiful, clean and well-kept streets, and its trendy bars and restaurants.

When visiting the city, don't forget to take a trip to Kings Park, one of Australia's most beautiful parks, which offers stunning views of the city and the Swan River.

30 minutes by train, the calm and cheerful atmosphere of the port town of Fremantle will end your tour on a pleasant note.

From Fremantle there are regular ferries to Rottnest Island, an island with beautiful white sand beaches. You can take a one-day bike rental to tour the island. Quokkas, a nice mix of mice and raccoon, are typical of the island.

Perth's exceptional location, located on the west coast but close to the south coast, makes this city an ideal tourist destination in Australia.

It will be better to take your motorhome after your visit to Perth as it is not very convenient to park there with the motorhome.

On the other hand, you will be able to collect your van or your motorhome there, and start your road trip in this beautiful wild region of Australia.

With the desert to the east and the coast to the west, the wild state of Western Australia is very suitable for a motorhome trip.

Start your Western Australia itinerary with Margaret River and its exceptional wineries.

The Valley of the Giants in Denmark boasts of having the tallest trees in Australia.

Continuing your stay through Albany, you will admire one of the most picturesque coastlines in the country.

But the highlight of your Australian vacation is still a visit to Cape the Great, arguably Australia's most beautiful national park. If you're lucky, you won't meet a soul on your tour, other than a few kangaroos maybe. The turquoise water and snow-like sand of Cape the Great will undoubtedly be the most beautiful image of your trip to Australia.
